Switchable glass keeps the opening intact. Clear when the view matters, private in under a second when it does not, with the daylight still in the room. On the coast we also plan around the marine layer and salt air. Switchable film and laminated panels are interior-side assemblies, so the exposed exterior glazing and its coatings are untouched.
